Transport Secretary commits to A180 noise reduction

Today, I had the opportunity to quiz the Transport Secretary about long-overdue upgrades to the A180.

The Secretary of State replied that additional treatment to substantially reduce noise is due to be a priority in National Highways' Concrete Roads Programme which begins next year.

I will be meeting the Roads Minister in due course to discuss the matter further.
