Martin is encouraging local young people to get involved with UK Parliament Week (UKPW) by signing up for a free UKPW activity kit.
Last year over 1.6 million people took part in UK Parliament Week all over the country. This year’s UKPW runs from 18-24 November.
When you sign up, you will receive a free resource kit, including a booklet, a ballot box, and colourful bunting to decorate your space. There’s also a Give Way card game, a fun way to build your knowledge by matching words, definitions and pictures about UK Parliament
Martin adds, “I am informed that over 9,000 kits have already been requested ahead of UK Parliament Week so please don’t wait any longer to request yours.
“UK Parliament Week is a wonderful opportunity to explore how UK Parliament works and to learn how to get involved in the democratic process. I encourage all local young people to take part in this fantastic initiative.”
