Today, Martin attended question time with the Northern Powerhouse Minister, Andrew Percy MP. Martin asked the minister for clarification on when the Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is due its settlement.
Martin joined neighbouring MP for Scunthorpe, Nic Dakin, for a debate titled: Sixth-form Education: International Comparisons. Martin spoke on the issue of social mobility in coastal communities and mentioned the local Franklin College in Grimsby.
During questions to the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), Greg Clark MP, Martin asked for assurances that Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPS) will be used by BEIS to fund future projects in the local area.
