Martin has pledged his support to children and young people with a vision impairment through Guide Dogs’ “All Things Equal” campaign.

Martin has shown his support for the local Parkinson’s community on World Parkinson’s Day, 11 April. Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world and currently there is no cure. 

Martin celebrated the past, present and future of research at a Cancer Research UK event in Westminster this week (Tuesday 29 March) to mark the charity’s 20th anniversary.

Today, I was proud to sign a book of solidarity with Ukraine, on behalf of everyone within the Cleethorpes Constituency. Once every MP has had the opportunity to sign it, the book will be sent to Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, the Parliament of Ukraine.

This morning, I paid tribute to constituents who gave their lives during the two world wars, as well as other conflicts, in the Constituency Garden of Remembrance in Westminster.

I was delighted to visit Beacon Academy recently to see for myself the result of the huge improvements that have been made over the last few years.
