Martin attended a Samaritans drop-in event in Parliament today to discuss their campaign: United with the Frontline, aimed at securing suicide prevention training for frontline workers.
Martin learned that three in four people who die by suicide aren’t in touch with mental health services in the year before they die. Whilst many people are in touch with other frontline workers when they are at crisis point, the Samaritans' campaign wants to ensure that these moments are real chances for anyone who is struggling to be noticed and supported, before it’s too late.
