National Lorry Week 2

Martin recently attended a Parliamentary drop-in event to celebrate National Lorry Week and show support for the vital haulage sector in Brigg and Immingham.

Following the event, Martin said, "It was a pleasure to meet with our local Road Haulage Association members to discuss the essential role their industry plays in keeping our community and the wider economy moving. With 56 member businesses in our area supporting 7,000 jobs in transport and storage, it is clear just how critical their hard work is to the prosperity of our area".

The event provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn more about the complexities of road haulage and the daily impact these professionals have on our local infrastructure. During the session, Martin spent time speaking with local representatives and learning about the significance of the sector’s contributions to the constituency.
