No to the Waltham planning application

Martin Vickers MP for Cleethorpes speaks during the meeting

I strongly oppose the Council's plan to build 199 homes at the site on Brigsley Road, Waltham.

This particular scheme is totally unsuited for the village in every regard: its location, its access, the drainage etc.

I've been supporting the WRAG group throughout their campaign to oppose over development but, unfortunately, the Council have included this in the new local plan which is the foundation on which all planning decisions are made.

The battle goes on to try and stop the development entirely or, at the very least, downsize it and impose strict conditions on it.

I have made my views known to the Council on many occasions and to residents whom I have met in private and public meetings.

The Council have agreed to visit the site to review their decision.
